About the show

The Specials Ltd recreate the passion and enthusiasm of The Specials, bringing back memories of those who were there first time around and showing younger fans what they missed.

When the original line-up of The Specials split in 1981 they left behind a legacy unrivalled by any single band since. The Specials formed their own 2-Tone record label, which launched the recording careers of Madness, The Beat, The Bodysnatchers and The Selecter.

The setlist

Expect every classic and fan favourite: Gangsters, Do The Dog, Message To You Rudy, Stereotype, Rat Race, Do Nothing, Monkey Man, Too Much Too Young, and of course Ghost Town — performed on the 45th anniversary of its release.

Martin Kemp's Afternoon Fever is the daytime version of his sold-out Back to the 80's club night — a tightly curated DJ set of every essential decade anthem, packed into a 15:00–20:00 window so you can dance for four hours and still be in bed by nine.

The format is half DJ set, half '80s love letter — interspersed with stories from Spandau Ballet, the Krays, and a career that somehow spans both new romantic pop and gangster cinema.
